Intermediate Ballet 2 Pointe
Description: An emphasis is placed on intermediate barre and centre pointe work. Basic elements of the pointe are introduced as well as the rudimentary beginnings of pointe work. Prerequisite: Students should take 4 technique classes per week. Prerequisite: 5 or more previous years of ballet training, mastery of intermediate technique and demi-pointe work and faculty approval or audition placement. The attire for all classes, except where otherwise noted, is as follows: Girls: Black BTM leotard, pink tights and pink ballet slippers. No jewelry and hair must be neatly pulled back from the face. Boys: White t-shirt, black tights and white or black ballet slippers. Please Note: Beginning 2009-2010, BTM ‘s black leotard may be purchased exclusively through BTM.
